South Korea Issued Hazard Evaluation Results for New Substances Registered under K-REACH

South Korea's National Institute of Environmental Research (NIER) issued the updates of hazard evaluation results for new chemical substances registered under K-REACH by NIER Announcement No. 2017-52 on 23 Nov 2017. The updates took effect immediately.

The updates are summarized as below:

  • The chemical name of 7 new substances (given number as 2015-78, 2016-649, 2016-732, 2016-775, 2016-977,2017-534, 2017-731) previously assessed were updated.

  • The hazard evaluation results of 48 new substances (given number as 2015-13, 2015-15, 2015-39, 2015-60, 2015-90, 2016-27, 2016-70, 2016-83, 2016-129, 2016-141, 2016-161, 2016-178, 2016-203, 2016-225, 2016-235, 2016-246, 2016-261, 2016-326, 2016-335, 2016-355, 2016-364, 2016-427, 2016-435, 2016-446, 2016-463, 2016-466, 2016-477, 2016-495, 2016-819, 2016-849, 2016-877, 2016-896, 2016-1046, 2017-3, 2017-7, 2017-151, 2017-159, 2017-163, 2017-205, 2017-232, 2017-285, 2017-423, 2017-427, 2017-525, 2017-598, 2017-622, 2017-699, 2017-721) previously assessed were updated.

  • 445 new substances (given number as 2017-794 ~ 2017-1238) registered under K-REACH were recently published with corresponding hazard evaluation results.
